Project
Engineering “porous liquids” for acid gas removal from industrial gases
Project Description
The goal is to engineer liquids from molecules that have cages or “intrinsic porosity” for acid gas removal in an industrial context. The resulting porous liquids should be easy to integrate into existing separation units. Separation and purification of chemicals with porous liquids has the potential to be a cheap alternative to thermally driven separation units.
